Hydration Room: A New Alternative to IV Hydration Therapy
As someone with IBS, Hydration Room is one of my go-tos for malabsorbtion. Hydration Room is a medical spa with locations all over Southern California that offers IV hydration and injection therapies for a variety of conditions, including colds and flu, migraines, jet lag, sore muscles, chronic pain, hangovers, and low energy. Established in December 2014 by board-certified anesthesiologist Dr. Brett Florie, Hydration Room provides medicine into customized vitamin injection and IV therapies. Now through October 7, use code JULIA50 for 50% off all of Hydration Room’s services.
Hydration Room typically offers a variety of IV hydration treatments, each designed to meet the specific needs of the patient. Some common treatments include:
Hydration boost: This treatment is designed to rehydrate the body and replenish electrolytes. It is often used for people who are dehydrated from illness, exercise, or travel.
Immune support: This treatment is designed to boost the immune system and help the body fight off infection. It is often used for people who are sick or who have a weakened immune system.
Athletic performance: This treatment is designed to help athletes improve their performance and recovery. It can help to increase energy levels, reduce muscle soreness, and improve hydration.
Hangover cure: This treatment is designed to relieve the symptoms of a hangover, such as headache, nausea, and fatigue. It can also help to rehydrate the body and replenish electrolytes.
Here are some of the benefits of IV hydration therapy:
Faster hydration: IV fluids are directly absorbed into the bloodstream, so they can hydrate the body much faster than drinking fluids.
Improved nutrient delivery: IV fluids can also contain nutrients, such as vitamins and minerals, which can be absorbed into the bloodstream more efficiently than if taken orally.
Reduced side effects: IV fluids are less likely to cause side effects, such as nausea and vomiting, than drinking fluids.
Enhanced physical performance: IV hydration can help to improve athletic performance and recovery by increasing energy levels, reducing muscle soreness, and improving hydration.
Improved overall health and well-being: IV hydration can help to improve overall health and well-being by boosting the immune system, detoxifying the body, and reducing inflammation.
Why visit Hydration Room
Hydration Room offers a more convenient and affordable alternative than going to the emergency room to get a simple IV, with no wait times and no outstanding medical bills. IV hydration therapies are quick, often under thirty minutes depending on your hydration status and needs. Injection therapy is administered in a private room by Hydration Room's physicians or nursing staff.
Hydration Room's treatments are designed to help patients improve their symptoms and get back to feeling their best as quickly as possible. An IV hydration treatment for a cold or flu can help to reduce fever, relieve congestion, and boost the immune system. An IV hydration treatment for a hangover can help to relieve headache, nausea, and fatigue. And an IV hydration treatment for low energy can help to increase energy levels and improve overall mood.
Dr. Florie was raised in Newport Beach and Long Beach, California. He has earned both DO (osteopathic) and MD (allopathic) degrees. Prior to medical school, he obtained a Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences. He earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Southern California, and also completed his residency training at the University of Southern California, in the field of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Florie created Hydration Room out of concern for his wife, who suffered from migraines. He began developing a vitamin IV therapy that helped with her symptoms, and as he got more involved with what vitamins can do intravenously, he realized he could help patients from all walks of life. Currently, he is a practicing anesthesiologist and pain specialist at several local Orange County surgery centers and hospitals.
